Soon the revival …
The general situation in the civil works has led us to diversify our activities to maintain a certain balance.
We finished in 2008-2009 the following projects:
• EPR3 in Flamanville for Soletanche-Bachy (a shaft of 150 m depth, guidance for boring of a 600m long gallery .
• Highway A75 lot A and B for BEC
• Metro of Algiers (follow-up of concreting and track laying)
• Metro of St Dominguo (supervision and training)
• Dolle / Vallorbe (follow-up of tamping machine)
• Haut bugey (Study and establishment of the acoustical screens)
• Rails renewal for the gantry cranes of the armory (Rails burback) in Brest for Olichon |
As well as numerous tunnels where the acquisition of data thanks to the GRP 3000 gives marvelous results, gauge, slope, track’s position:

Ongoing right now:
In underground works:
• The extension of metro line 4 in the south of Paris for BEC / Soletanche, to the account of Paris Public Transport System. In this mission MIRE S.A.S. saw itself entrusted a topographical mission of supervision as well as the installation of automatic monitoring during the passage under the ring road of Paris.
• We also intervene on the control of tunnels (enlargement and concreting of shells):
- Roquefort - St Etienne - Mornay
Were RTS and Colas Rail are regularly renewing their confidence to us.
• For the French National Railway Company, we undertake the survey of long distances of underground micro tunnels.

In railway works:
• In place, since April 2009, our teams for gears and catenary laying contribute to the regular progress of LGV RR for the C2R group.
• We participate in a campaign of GPS for TSO in Cambodia. The expertise of MIRE S.A.S. was needed to establish solid topographic basis necessary for such project.
• Many operations of track renovation are coming to an end:
-Grenoble / Moirans
- Joncherolles
• A fourth campaign of monitoring for Paris Public Transport System was carried out on the Parisian Northeast lines.
• We participate in the studies of tramways in general and we have recently finished for Alstom a mission of precision survey for the tramway of Orleans as well as reinforcement teams for Reims tramway.

MIRE s.a.s actively participates in the studies of railway works for different companies:
• Rail laying (Colas Rail)
• Project managers (SNCF,
Inexia, Systra,….) |
We can particularly name, establishment of tamping sheets, ballast renovation sheets, equipment diagrams for longitudinal profiles.
In this framework, we have participated with the Toulouse PRI in the establishment of 80km of complete studies for the rail track Midi-Pyrénées.
Software:
We continue to develop our software products and to insure numerous trainings.
We have noted, with pleasure, that this year new Armatis users have joined us. In fact, and despite the crisis, MIRE s.a.s,. among the TSO group, diversifies its activities geographically and professionally.
More than anything, it’s preparing for the economic revival and is doing everything to be ready for it and never miss the restart.
Counting on the motivation and the capacity of its personnel, MIRE knows that tomorrow the railway works will be very demanding….and for a long time.
